Why He’s The One:  Sometimes a person's name is a perfect descriptor of his or her personality, like our latest Employee of the Month.  Roque (pronounced "Rocky" in English) tries his best and never gives up, even during difficult times.  (Just like Rocky Balboa!)  As Kitchen Manager of Hobee's Sunnyvale, Roque is used to high volume.  In 2007, however, sales at the restaurant increased double digits.  Roque has handled the surge in business extremely well and continues to impressively control his costs.  Best of all, he guided Sunnyvale through a raging December even though he was short a couple of key kitchen workers.  A Hobee's employee for fourteen years, Roque is a strong leader with a terrific work ethic.
